MFT 6706 Practicum III
This third practicum course provides an opportunity to further develop your clinical identity, to further identify experiences of countertransference, and to continue to hone your skillset of evidence-based practices while working with individuals, couples, families and/or groups in a university-approved practicum setting. Learners are required to complete a minimum of 95 hours of direct client contact, with a minimum of 19 units of supervision (1 unit of supervision = 1 hour of individual/triadic supervision or 2 hours of group supervision) in the proper Board mandated ratio. Satisfactory completion of all activities and acceptance of all documentation is required to successfully complete this course. The final grade for this course will either be (S) Satisfactory or (U) Unsatisfactory.
Notes
This course is excluded from acceleration and may not be completed in less than 16 weeks without advanced approval. Please refer to the Practicum and Internship Handbook for more information regarding the required considerations for acceleration approval.
