About This Catalog

California Southern University is a member of the American InterContinental University System (“AIU System”) and will be referenced as “CalSouthern” or the “University” throughout this catalog.

This catalog is current as of the time of publication. From time to time, it may be necessary or desirable for California Southern University to make changes to this catalog due to the requirements and standards of the school’s accrediting body, state licensing agencies or U.S. Department of Education, or due to market conditions, employer needs or other reasons.

CalSouthern reserves the right to make changes at any time to any provision of this catalog, including the amount of tuition and fees, academic programs and courses, policies and procedures, faculty mentors and administrative staff, the University calendar and other dates, to cancel or postpone a scheduled program start, and other provisions. Notice of changes will be communicated in a revised catalog, an addendum or supplement to the catalog, or other written format. CalSouthern also reserves the right to make changes in equipment and instructional materials, to modify curriculum and to combine or cancel classes.

Learners are expected to read and be familiar with the information contained in the catalog, in any revisions, supplements and addenda to the catalog, and with all University policies. Responsibility for following all policies and meeting all requirements and deadlines for programs, including any specific licensure regulations and procedures, rests with the learner. CalSouthern cannot guarantee employment, licensure, salary, or career advancement.
