PSY 7700 Psychopharmacology
This course explores the neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and biological actions of psychopharmacological agents which are currently in use, as well as the clinical considerations for referring the patient for medication evaluation, potential side effects which may occur, and ways to engage in a collaborative relationship with the medication prescriber. The course will review and discuss multicultural and ethical components that may impact treatment planning and patient compliance.
