LGL 3421 Victims and the Criminal Justice System

This course will examine methods of research in victimology and treatment of victims in the criminal justice system. Learners will examine the social and psychological consequences of specific types of victimization to include human trafficking, sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse, and the importance of acknowledging the rights and meeting the needs of crime victims.
