About This Catalog

California Southern University is a member of the American InterContinental University System (“AIU System”) and will be referenced as “CalSouthern” or the “University” throughout this catalog.

This catalog is current as of the time of publication. From time to time, it may be necessary or desirable for California Southern University to make changes to this catalog due to the requirements and standards of the school’s accrediting body, state licensing agencies or U.S. Department of Education, or due to market conditions, employer needs or other reasons.

CalSouthern reserves the right to make changes at any time to any provision of this catalog, including the amount of tuition and fees, academic programs and courses, school policies and procedures, faculty and administrative staff, the school calendar and additional dates, and other provisions. Learners will be notified of changes to the catalog. CalSouthern also reserves the right to make changes in equipment and instructional materials, to modify curriculum and to combine or cancel classes.

It is the learner’s responsibility to be familiar with the information presented in the University catalog and to know and observe all regulations and procedures relating to the program they are pursuing. Responsibility for following all policies and meeting all requirements and deadlines for degree programs rests with the learner. CalSouthern cannot guarantee employment, licensure, salary, or career advancement.
